The Investor Assistance Centre – Świętokrzyskie Region (IACŚR) operates within the Offices of the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Kielce on the basis of an agreement between the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship’s Self-Government and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PIFIA), concluded on November 21, 2007.
According to the agreement, the Parties thereto undertake to cooperate for the economic promotion of the Świętokrzyskie Region, including in particular foreign investor services for those interested in investing in our voivodship or doing business with local companies. The primary objective of the co-operation is to increase the influx of direct foreign investment into our region.
Basic tasks of the IACŚR:
preparation and ongoing update of both greenfield- and brownfield-type regional investment opportunities; disseminating this information to investors;
compilation and update of regional lists of sub-suppliers according to economic sectors and a database of export companies of the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship;
gathering basic information on state-owned and State Treasury enterprises as well as municipal companies in the voivodship in search of strategic investors;
gathering basic statistical data on the voivodship as well as disseminating it to the PIFIA and interested investors;
compilation and ongoing update of information on public-and-legal projects in the voivodship, feasible to be implemented with the participation of a foreign investor; disseminating this information;
services to foreign investors interested in starting business operations
in the voivodship in the scope of collection and dissemination of useful information;
preparation and services for commercial-and-investment missions
to and from the voivodship according to financial principles specified each time in a separate agreement;
dissemination to investors of all kept, unreserved information
which can foster the voivodeship’s promotion or the region’s investment related climate, in particular
a) commercial or investment missions,
b) business conferences with the participation of investors and regional authorities,
c) expansion plans of foreign investors operating in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodship,
d) forms and effects of investment marketing by the Centre for Investor Services and the voivodship’s authorities,
e) considerable improvement in the region’s infrastructure.
